What's glass and wood and green all over?

by Ariana Flynn, Assistant Operations Manager, August 14th, 2010

sitting pretty- construction completes on the OceanVilla development

My first opportunity to have a peek inside came when two eligible suitors approached the front desk of the resort wanting a tour of the Villas after the developer and superintendant had already called it a day.  I happen to know where the keys are kept so I took them to the top Penthouse unit on the north side and unlocked the back door.  The unit was immediately familiar to me.  Many of the thoughtful details that had gone into the architecture of the resort were apparent in the OceanVillas.  Plenty of natural light, tall ceilings, massage showers, jetted tubs.

The hallway takes you from one room to the next until it emerges into The Great Room.  Money honey.  Here are million-dollar views of Brentwood Bay.  Floor-to-ceiling windows envelop the room—even the gas fireplace provides a peek-a-boo window out into the bay so as not to miss a single opportunity for ocean viewing.  The kitchen, dining, and living area all reside in this one room and why wouldn’t they?   This is where life happens.  And part of being alive is the feeling of being connected to the environment you live in—it’s all around you and reflected back in the materials used from the hardwood flooring to the wave-texture glass backsplash in the kitchen.   Part of being alive is also the feeling of connectedness with one’s friends and family and these walls will one day talk of long summer nights spent entertaining.

Not just a pretty face, it’s also environmentally responsible.  Committed to “Leed for Homes” in design and construction practices, feel assured that as on owner, you’ve chosen a home that is healthier to live in with minimal environmental impact.

Fancy yourself an eligible suitor too?   See what all the fuss is about at one of our open-houses held every Saturday and Sunday afternoons.  Check-out www.brentwoodbayresort.com/villas for more information.
